Ladies Tea 2009- Pursuing God was the Theme

The head table (reserved for speakers) is in the background.

160 tickets were sold, so as you can imagine, we needed to provide for a lot of guests.

Since the theme was Pursuing God, we used little purses as both edible and non-edible decorations, and that is another reason why we had a Purse Exchange later on. lol

Just recently, I helped with a Ladies Tea event in our church foyer. People brought their teapots and cups, and enjoyed their time together. We had tried to honor our pastors' wives at this event and our other goal was to help build community for the women of Wallen. People of all ages came and enjoyed the food (which was fabulously made by a few women of Wallen) the decorations (also made by women of Wallen), and the gifts (provided by contributors from Wallen). :)
I helped to lead our group in a Purse Scavenger Hunt, door prizes, and a Purse Exchange. It was a lot of work. It was a lot of FUN!
