It's been a sad couple of days in the Ott family here in Indiana. They lost their daughter Elizabeth Ott (17 years old) in a car crash. Today is the funeral.
Ethan and I knew Lizzie (& one of her brothers Ben) through Junior High Youth Group while they attended Wallen Baptist. Although it's been a couple of years since she had been a part of Junior High Youth Group, we can distinctly remember her bright smile, and fun-loving attitude. She was always willing to be silly and have fun during our silly games. She had a warmth to her demeanor.
It's a terrible tragedy. We will miss her, and we are praying for her family as they face future holidays, memories, without her here.
We believe that she was a sincere Christian, and we try to rejoice that she is with Jesus now, but we mourn for the loss we feel at this time for the family.
